About Colorado EDGE Recreational Soccer and Philosophy


Colorado EDGE Soccer Club offers Recreational soccer programs and leagues for all players ages 4 to 19. Our focus is on teaching soccer skills in a fun and creative training environment. All players learn sportsmanship and are encouraged to participate to the best of their abilities. EDGE uses the small-sided game approach to teaching the game of soccer. Starting at Under 9, we offer different competition levels to meet player's needs. The two levels offered are an “in-house” league played in Arvada and the surrounding communities or the Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) state league played primarily in the Denver metro area.

Colorado EDGE is dedicated to providing a FUN, but challenging soccer environment for the children in our program. The emphasis is placed on FUN and player development, through an age-appropriate training program. Each child is challenged at a level which is appropriate for their stage of development. The EDGE prides itself in offering the most enjoyable and rewarding soccer experience for our players, coaches, referees, and families in the Arvada and surrounding communities.

Spring Soccer 2026 Season Information


  • Registration deadline August 10th *Waitlist available depending on availability
  • Practice for teams begins the week of August 31st.
  • First games begin Saturday, September 12th
  • The season will conclude on Saturday, October 31st

Colorado Soccer Association Age Groups

Colorado Soccer Association defines age groups based on the following general rules:

Age groups are determined by August 1 cutoff.   Click here for the Age group Chart

Seasonal Year runs from August 1st to July 31st of the next year.


Practices


Practices begin the week of August 31st (Fall Season). They take place on your team's assigned practice night(s) and day(s)

U9-U19 will have two practices a week at Stenger soccer complex. 

Practice days and times are determined by the volunteer coach. Typically practices are Mon/Wed or Tue/Thur.

Team practice slots are 4:30-5:30 or 5:30-6:30


What about the games?

All of our home games for the U4-U19 recreational programs are played at Stenger Soccer Complex, which is located at 58th and Quail in Arvada. The complex is quite large, and the field layout changes each season, so be sure to print out a field map (located under the club info tab at the left side of our website). Each team will get a minimum of 8 games per season.

How Much Does It Cost?

'26-'27 Recreational Registration Fees*:

  • U9 - U10: $210 per season
  • U11-U14: $225 per season
  • U15-U19: $255 per season

*Registration fees do not include the cost of a uniform
