Dates:

• Practices begin the week of March 16th on your team's assigned practice night(s) and day(s) for 7U and 8U age groups only.
• First games begin Saturday, March 28th.
• The season will conclude on Saturday, May 16th.
• 4U (2016 birth year) will begin Saturday, April 4th.

Locations:

• All games and practices are played at Stenger Soccer Complex.

Real Colorado EDGE Soccer Club (RCE) offers Recreational soccer leagues for all players ages 4 to 19. Our focus is on teaching the technical and tactical aspect of soccer in a fun and creative training environment.

RCE uses the small sided game (3v3 for 4U-6U & 5v5 for 7U-8U) approach to teach the game of soccer for our younger age groups. Less players on the field mean more touches on the ball. More touches on the ball lead to individual player development. Starting at 9U we offer different pathways to meet players needs. The 2 levels offered are an “in-house” recreational league played in Arvada and the surrounding communities or the Colorado Soccer Association (CSA) state league played primarily in the Denver metro area.

Colorado Soccer Association defines age groups based on the following general rules:

Age groups are determined by the year a player was born.  Click here for the Age group Chart

Age group “labels” are the age of a player followed by AND UNDER.  For example 8 and Under or 8U

Seasonal Year runs from August 1st to July 31st of the next year.

Recreational Registration Fees*:

• 4 and Under (2016): $70 for the season
• 5 and Under- 6 and Under (2015, 2014): $85 for the season
• 7 and Under (2013): $100 for the season
• 8 and Under (2012): $110 for the season
  

• 4U (2016 birth year) players will play various FUN, developmentally appropriate activities on Saturdays for 30 minutes and then are introduced to the game for the the remainder of the hour.  EDGE full-time coaching staff will lead the hour along session with the assistance of volunteer high school players.
• 5U-6U (2015 and 2014 birth year) teams practice 1/2 hour prior to their game on Saturday at Stenger.
• 7U (2013 birth year) teams practice once a week at Stenger
• 8U (2012 birth year) teams practice twice a week at Stenger

Our uniform supplier is Soccer Stop (8831 N Harlan St, Westminster, CO 80031) and you can stop by during their normal business hours to try sizes on and purchase.  For 4U-8U players you will need the blue and white reversible jersey (in some cases it may be a one white and one blue jersey sold separately) , black shorts, and a pair of black socks.  

**PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY AS THERE HAS BEEN SOME CHANGES WITH OUR UNIFORMS**

4U through 8U recreational players will continue to wear the blue and white game jerseys, black shorts, black socks until they are a 9U player, at which point they will transition into the red and white jerseys.  You will also need shin guards, and a size 3 soccer ball.  Soccer cleats are recommend for 7U and 8U players.

-TOP Soccer players (EDGE’s special needs soccer program) will stay in their current uniform, uniforms will be distributed at your first practice.
