David is responsible for ensuring the strategic and tactical plan of the club through program development, sponsorships, and business development. David holds a USSF ‘A’ coaching license and Youth Club Administrator Professional Development certificate with over 20 years of coaching experience at the youth, collegiate, and professional level. David has been in the Colorado soccer community as Director of Coaching, assistant coach with the Colorado Rapids professional team, and Director of Soccer and Business Development with Colorado EDGE Soccer. David received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology at Fresno State while playing NCAA Division 1 soccer earning 1st team All-American honors, 1st team Academic All-American honors, and was named National Goalkeeper of the Year in 1994. He continued his playing career as a 7-year professional player in Major League Soccer (MLS). In 2010, he was a member of the Colorado Rapids technical staff which won the MLS Cup Championship.

Emma joins us as our Member Services Director where she will be assisting with club registration specifically for the U4-U8 program, account management, team managers, TOPS Soccer Administration, and office support.  We welcome Emma back to the other side of the “field” after she played her entire soccer career at EDGE from U4-U19.  Emma is an Arvada native and is currently finishing up her degree at the University of Colorado.

Adam has a real passion to work with young players and to help nurture their love for the game of soccer. Adam grew up playing recreational soccer in Boulder and competitive soccer with FC Boulder. He played his high school soccer at both Boulder and Fairview High Schools. Adam’s credentials include: USSF “B” License, USSF Youth National License, Former Director of Recreational at FC Boulder, Former Executive Director for Boulder Athletic, Recreational Director Nova Soccer Club, 20+ years coaching experience at all levels in the state of Colorado and 10 years as a Physical Educator at Eldorado K-8

Dave currently holds a USSF 'D' coaching license, USSF National Youth coaching License, and a USC Youth Level 1 diploma. Dave grew up in Arvada where he played competitively for the Arvada Eagles of the Arvada Soccer Association. Dave began his coaching career in high school as a volunteer coach for the club and has also served as a member of our board of directors. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music, and following Liverpool FC.

Ian joined our club with a wealth of experience in the 9U-10U age groups and will continue our club’s commitment to developing complete players. Ian had been previously working at the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club coaching in the Select and Rec PLUS Programs in the role of Technical Coordinator. Ian moved to Colorado from New Jersey where he had been coaching for the MLS franchise, the New York Red Bulls for five years. While with the New York Red Bulls, Ian served as a Youth Development Coach within the Training Programs Department, working with recreational youth players from ages 4-16, as well as, a Regional Development School (RDS) coach.
Ian grew up on the Wirral just over the river from Liverpool, England. Since he could remember, Ian has lived and breathed the beautiful game. He obtained his 1st coaching qualification at the age of 16 and thus began his career as a coach. Ian now holds English FA, USC, USYS and USSF coaching qualifications as well as TOPSoccer certification.
Outside of coaching, Ian enjoys golf, cooking and spending time with his wife and 2 daughters, AJ (5) and Calliope (1).

James holds a USSF ‘C’ coaching license, USC Advanced National Diploma and a USC Goalkeeping 1 diploma as well as the CHSAA Certification. James played soccer in high school at Stanley Lake High School and continued playing as an adult in recreation and competitive leagues. He attended Western State College in Gunnison, CO and Metro State College in Denver, CO. James grew up in Westminster, CO playing soccer for local clubs beginning at age 4 and while not on the fields, he enjoys his family time, the outdoors, and attending sporting events.

Kyle brings a wealth of experience in the Colorado soccer community as an Operations Manager, Competitive Program Manager along with coaching teams. Prior to working in the club soccer environment, he spent six years mentoring at Game Only Sports, a grassroots street soccer facility. Kyle currently holds a USC ‘C’ License, USYS National Youth and a United Soccer Coaches (USC) Goalkeeper Level 2 diploma. Kyle played High School Soccer at Broomfield High School, collegiately at Yavapai College, and spent his youth playing for Arvada United and EDGE Soccer Club. Kyle holds a BA in Business Management and when not on the fields he enjoys spending time with his family, camping and relaxing with his dogs.

Ryan holds the USC Premier coaching license and grew up in Vermont and CT representing Vermont and CT in the ODP program before attending the University of Kansas, earning a degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation, Ryan moved to CT where he commuted to NYC working as an Account Executive in Marketing and coaching club with CT Arsenal before switching completely to club working with CFC in CT before moving to Boulder, CO. At BC United (Formerly, FC Boulder and BC Force) he worked in many roles over a decade including Director of Coaching, Elite Teams Coach, Junior Elite Academy Director and Tournament Director. Ryan has won 2 national championships as a coach, multiple State Cup championships and Regional championships, and has seen over 300 players into their college institutions.

Jay holds the USC Premier Diploma and a USSF ‘D’ License. In addition to his position at the club, he is an assistant women soccer coach at Regis University. Jay played Division 1 soccer at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he played for 3 years and finished his final year at Metro State. Jay played professional indoor soccer with the San Diego Sockers and Denver Dynamite. He grew up in Moore, Oklahoma playing youth soccer for Der Bullen SC and Magpies FC. In his free time Jay likes to hang out with his family and watch his girls play soccer.

Colin joins us in our newly created 11-12U Competitive Director position serving the additional needs of our players, teams and coaches through on and off field training, education and mentoring. Colin will work in collaboration with our Boys and Girls Competitive Directors to ensure we are providing continued support to our membership. Colin holds his USSF "A" License and USSF Youth National License, bringing a wealth of experience working with both boys and girls in Colorado and his hometown of Cincinnati where he has previously served as Director of Coaching at prestigious youth clubs. Colin has a passion for player development in all areas technically, tactically, physically and psychologically, all while emphasizing the importance of development of high character in all the players he works with.

Kris holds his USSF “A” coaching license and will work with our Goalkeepers throughout the year during weekly training sessions, gameday support at league and tournament games, along with providing assistance with club tournaments, camps and administration.  Kris has an outstanding ability to relate to and work with boys and girls in the highly specialized goalkeeper position.  Kris joins us after 15 years as the Associate Head Coach and Goalkeeper Coach for the University of Denver Division 1 Women’s program. In addition to his time at DU, Kris has worked with goalkeepers at various youth clubs in the Denver metro area.  Prior to the University of Denver, Kris served in different capacities as a director and coach in youth clubs, state associations, colleges and professional clubs in Atlanta. Kris’ playing career as a goalkeeper included high school All-American honors, Youth National team appearances, 4 year starter at NC State and 11 years as a professional goalkeeper.

Nathan Skelton - Head Athletic Trainer, Children's Hospital Colorado

Nathan Skelton is a Certified Athletic Trainer from Denver, Colorado and has been working at Children's Hospital since 2018. Prior to coming to Children’s Hospital, Nathan worked as an Athletic Trainer for Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, CO, providing primary coverage for all sports teams, games, practices, as well as clinical coverage. Nathan is a Colorado native and received his BA in Athletic Training from Point Loma Nazarene University, in San Diego, in 2015, and his MS in Sports Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University in St. Louis, Missouri in 2019, where he graduated as Valedictorian.
Nathan will be available Monday-Thursday at Stenger Soccer Complex or Long Lake (location varies depending on day of week) for practice coverages and working with our athletes on injury prevention, as well as covering home league games on Saturdays.  In addition to his work during the season, Nathan will be available at our club events, tournaments, camps and off-season team practices.   Please email him to set up any evaluations in order to reserve a time slot. He is also available by email for any questions or concerns you may have in relation to your child’s athletic injuries. These evaluations will be done free of charge. He can also help with the referral process to Children’s Hospital Colorado if you need to see an orthopedic physician or need physical therapy for any ongoing injuries.
