How to get training
Training Dates are by Venue, please check back frequently for updates!
You can attend any beginning of the season training you want. Aramark our parent company operates Red Rocks, Fiddler’s Green, Dick’s, and Pepsi Center. The information will benefit you for all these venues.
Centerplate is our other parent company who operates Invesco Field for both the Broncos and the Outlaws (Outdoor La Crosse). Broncos generally hold a mock event before the season as training for the upcoming season.
T.I.P.S Training
This is required by all venues for the responsible serving of alcoholic beverages!
Everyone 18 years and older must be trained to work venues.
There are two ways to become Tips trained. You can wait and go to one of the training dates listed below or you can get you training by the internet. Each tips class is good for three years.
With the first option you can be trained for free. The only drawback is that you have to wait for a class to become available and find a class that fits your schedule.
With the internet option you have to pay $40.00 for the class and you can take it at your convenience. You will need to go to this website www.gettips.com to access this option. Make sure you print a copy of your certificate at the end until you get your tips card in the mail.
Both classes are acceptable and it is totally up to you.
It does not matter what venue you get trained at. Everyone, unless notified by me, should take the cashier training and or TIPS if you are not certified already. Please take the first available class you can. You will need to email shellyb5@msn.com with the date in which you would like to attend. They require us to notify them of how many will attend each class.
