$46.00 per event or Commission off
of sales. Whichever rate is higher. Commission
is based on sales minus sales tax,
minus shortages times 5% for alcohol and
11% for food sales.
Age requirements
You must be 18 or older
Dress Code
Pants--Khaki Pants, Shorts, or Capri’s
Shirt—Will be provided (You will need a undershirt - long sleeve for cold evenings and short for hot events)
Shoes—Tennis shoes any color, no crocks
or half shoes. Only fully closed shoes please!
Hat— Everyone will be issued a hat the first time you work. Five dollars will be charged for that hat from your first event payout. Keep the hat and bring it each time you work All venues have different hats and you will be required to purchase a hat for each venue.
If you have hair that reaches your collar you will be required to wear it up in a pony tail or clip. (Men included)

You will not be able to bring a lot of things into the stand. Please do not bring anymore than five dollars of cash to any event. You will be given drinks and a meal for each shift you work
Training
Everyone 18 and older is required to become tips trained to serve alcohol. (Every events serves alcohol)
All venues will have a beginning of the season training. Everyone will need to attend this training even if you have work there the previous season. Please see the training page for specific dates
Directions, Parking and Check-in procedures

Driving directions—Interstate 70 to Morrison Road
South(left) to the first entrance to the park, (NORTH ENTRANCE)
Follow the road to the parking attendants.
Tell them you are an employee.
Go up the road to the visitor center. You will have to take the road to the right at the Y in the road.
Go under the arch and turn left into the dirt parking lot.
Park where the lot attendant places you and climb the stairs to the south to the main entrance. You will check in at the gate with security. Your name will be on a list.
Walk down the ramp to the circular building.
Go in the glass doors and take the stairs in the building to the bottom by the gift shop.
Turn left and follow the hallway toward the women’s restroom.
Turn right and go in the doors marked employees only.
You will stand in line at the table to check in. You will need your tips number and must sign in at the table to get job assignments and to be paid.
Follow the check-in directions from the Red Rocks staff.
Go out the opposite end of the hallway that you came through and out through the double glass doors to the stairs on the left.
Go up those stairs to the plaza. The Philly stand is on the plaza.
The Pizza south stand is down the stairs on the right.
Take the stairs to the bottom and turn left into the seating area then go down the rest of the way to the archway.
Go through archway to the stand by the Rest Rooms.
If you are lost or unsure just ask someone!

Tips
All tips and commissions will be divided equally between all who work each night. The south stand will bring the tips up and they will be divided equally with the Philly stand. You will receive your tips that night. Commissions also will also be divided equally. No one makes more than another!

During Event
Stand Manager
General Guidelines
Never sit in seating area!
Breaks only when manager tells you!
Never give away food.
No cell phones in front of the stand. Go to back prep area!
Inventory guidelines
Never give anything away.
Don’t throw away anything that is broken or spoiled without manager’s consent. There will be spoilage containers in all stands. All spoilage must be kept for Supervisors!
Only cook what supervisor or stand manager ask for.
Health Guidelines
Never refill cups.
Wash hands frequently.
Make sure you have sanitizer buckets.
Use a water bottle with a straw or pop top no
screw on lids.
Never put ice into a used cup.
Never resell something that a customer
has touched.
Always wear your hat in stand.
Wear gloves when touching food.
Change gloves frequently.
Never re- use gloves.
No food can leave the venue.
Food Temps must be kept at 160 to 140 degrees.
TIPS
Tips cannot be solicited!
Ask them to leave them on the counter!
Tip baskets are where the manager tells you.
All tips are pooled and divided equally even
bottle carts.
Tips are kept by manager and one cashier.
Alcohol Policy
Every one under 40 is asked for an ID!
Two beers per person not per ID!
Don’t serve anyone visibly Drunk!
Two hands two-beer policy.
No expired ID’s.
No punch out ID’s without paper back up.
You can take passports!
Organization
Everyone will be asked to clean as they go!
Help with stand counting.
Pre count boxes and wrap in cellophane wrap!
Keep money organized
Cook plenty for intermissions and breaks.
Fill cups with ice prior to intermissions.
