Developmental Registration Information-Fall 2008

The Edge Soccer club offers developmental soccer programs for children 4-18 years of age. Visit the "teams" page of the web-site for information specific to each age group. Registration for Fall 2008 begins May 1, 2008. The Spring Registration deadline is July 14, 2008. Please register on time!

Teams who have 75% of their roster re-registered before 6/1/2008, will recieve a $25.00 gift card to Sportline!

Spring Registration Deadline is July 14, 2008. An additional $10.00 late fee will be added to any registration recieved after that date. Please register on-time.

Developmental teams from these age groups may be formed after High School Tryouts, depending on the number of registrations.

ASA is a private, charitable, volunteer, non-profit corporation. Volunteer help or additional fees per team may be required. Supplemental Medical Insurance is included in your registration fee when registering a minor child. $25 fee charged on all returned checks.
Refunds:
Full refunds will be made ONLY if ASA cannot place the player on a team, the family moves out of the Edge service area, or if the player is unable to participate due to an injury or illness documented by a physician. Refund requests recieved prior to the start of season are subject to a $10.00 administrative fee. Refunds will not be granted after the first game of the season, or if a special request can not be made.

Team Formation and Special Requests:

Developmental teams are formed in accordance with CYS/UYS guidelines. We will make every effort to place all players who register before the seasonal registration deadline. All Intermediate team formation will be overseen by the Assistant Director of coaching- Developmental. When forming teams, we also may consider additional factors, which may include geographic/school area, number of returning players, availability of volunteer coaches, level competition, numbers of new players, and practice requests.

Returning players, who register on time, will automatically be returned to their previous roster unless otherwise noted on the registration form. Special requests for team assignment can be made by the parents, however these requests can not be guaranteed. Coaches are not allowed to guarantee spots on any roster. Special requests for placement onto an intermediate team will be overseen by the Assistant Director of Coaching- Developmental.

Click this link if you are unsure in which age group you are supposed to register you child. If this is your fist time registering this child with EDGE Soccer Club don't forget to bring in a copy of his/her birth certificate when you register at the soccer office.
