Mission

Provide a professionally structured soccer environment allowing each member the opportunity to build passion and knowledge of the game, while enabling players to achieve their highest playing potential through age specific training with qualified coaches.

The EDGE has the structure in place to provide players of all ability through our comprehensive developmental program for players ages 4 through 18, the ARVADA EDGE.  Our competitive program, the COLORADO EDGE, holds an annual tryout process which identifies and groups players onto teams based on similar playing abilities and is available for players ages 11 through 18.

Philosophy
The COLORADO EDGE is dedicated to developing players to their utmost potential for a great soccer experience. The EDGE promotes good sportsmanship and high levels of competition. Our goal is to provide a place for players of all ability levels to enjoy the game of soccer and to improve their individual skills and team awareness. This is acheived with quality coaching and good leadership. Age groups are set up in a structure which allows player movement between teams in order to allow each player to compete at the level which is most suited to his or her ability level.

Congratulations to our U13Girls Black team, Coach Troy Gette and to our U17Girls Black team, coach Jay Lehtinen, who won the CYS Presidents Cup Championship.  The Presidents Cup is a UYS National Tournament, which is designed to offer enhanced competition for non-elite (Premier2 and lower) youth soccer teams leading to state, regional and national championship titles. The winner in each gender/age group (U13, U14, U15, U16, and U17) is the official state champion, and becomes the Colorado representative at the Regional Presidents Cup competition to be held in the month of June in Oregon.
