Edge Soccer Club

The EDGE Soccer club is sponsoring several summer kickarounds to all our members who wish to knock the ball around a bit in the summer down time.  These kickarounds are free of charge, and will be held at the Long Lake Ranch Turf fields.   The fields will be monitored by EDGE Staff members, however the kids are just going to be playing games!

Congratulations to our U13 Girls Select team, as well as our U16Girls Select team for winning the US Club Soccer Regional Championship, which was held in Denver June 12-15, 2009.  The teams will now have the opportunity to compete in the National Championship Tournament which will be held in July in Virginia Beach, VA. 

4 other Edge teams competed in the Regional championships, including our U11 Girls Select team, who took 2nd place, U13 Boys Select (semi-finalists), U11 Boys Select, and the U15 Boys Select.  We are very proud of all of our teams who competed over the weekend, and represented the EDGE Soccer Club in this prestigious event!

Our Under 18 boys Select teams ended their EDGE soccer careers on a high note when they  made it to the Semi-Finals in the Colorado State Cup championship round in May.  This is the teams 2nd appearance in the State Cup finals in as many years.  The team played their final season together in Elite 1, and have always been one of the top team in their respective age groups.  Most of the boys on the team have played with the club since they were U5 players.  It only goes to show you what can be accomplished when players/families train hard, have fun and are loyal to the club and team mates they grew up playing with.  Many of the players are off next year to College to contiue their playing careers.  We wish all the boys the best of luck, and will greatly miss them from our program!
